story time

Listen I’ll tell you a story,
All about misguided youth,
Danger and love and destiny
And a most horrible truth.

This story is made for beginners
The message is really quite clear
But for some of is caught up on morals
It may be too much to bear.

So to all of those gathered: be careful,
Listen hard to the words that I say
Then when the going gets tough
You can run far out of harms way.

Our story starts with a youngster,
A girl barely out of her teens
Who sweated and toiled on minimum wage
For things far out of her means.

Then one day she was fired
For doing her job it is true
By an Ogar of epic proportions
A woman from the Min-E-D-U.

But this girl she was not worried
She knew of work out there
For a person with her talents:
An open mind and sparkley gold hair.

Her parents they were distraught,
Warned her it wasn’t the right thing to do.
They had statistics and morals
About these things they knew.

But this girl she did her own research.
She though it was only fair
To create her own opinion.
To look, to listen, to hear.

And so she came to discover,
It really should be no surprise,
That sex work is not such an issue
If you look through a working girl's eyes.

This job she really does love it
But she thinks it’s a terrible shame
That stigma and bigotry force her
To hide behind a fake name.

But maybe one day in the future
When all is said and done
There will be less judgment
On what she has become.
